“Varlık Hakkında Sorular” başlığıyla ürettiğim ve üretim ve düşünce süreçleri devam eden bu seride, büst, figür gibi heykel sanatının temel formları ve sorunlarından yola çıkarak, figüre bugünden yeni bir bakışla bakmaya çalışıyorum. Bu formlar geçmişte de, günümüzde de çok çeşitli şekillerde ele alındı, alınıyor ve ele alınmaya da devam edecek gibi görünüyor. Benim bu seride üzerinde durduğum ve araştırdığım konu, insanın “ Dünya-içinde-varoluş” hali ve bu halin heykel diliyle yorumlanması olarak okunabilir. Figür ve portrelerden uzanan ve neredeyse organik formlara dönüşen uzantılar,  benim için, tinsel ve bedensel olarak ikiye ayrılmış varoluş biçimlerimizin arasındaki gerilimin bir tezahürüdür. Bu seri, düşünce temelini, 20. Yüzyılın en etkili felsefe akımlarından olan ve günümüzde etkisi ve etrafındaki tartışmalar süren “Varoluşçuluk” akımında buluyor.  İnsanın , dünyadaki diğer varlıklarla arasındaki; dünyayı, yaşamı ve “oluş”u algılama biçimlerinde belirginleşen farklılık ve insanın dünyadaki yabancılaşma hali bugün çok derin bir şekilde hissedilmekte ve beni de bir sanatçı olarak bu düşünce etrafında düşünmeye ve üretmeye itmektedir.

In this series, which I produced with the title of "Questions About Existence" and whose production and thought processes are continuing, I try to look at the figure with a new perspective, starting from the basic forms and problems of sculpture such as bust and figure. These forms have been and will continue to be addressed in a wide variety of ways in the past and today. The subject that I have focused on and researched in this series can be read as the "existence-in-the-world" state of man and the interpretation of this state in the language of sculpture. Extensions that extend from figures and portraits and turn into almost organic forms are for me a manifestation of the tension between our ways of being divided into spiritual and bodily forms. This series finds its basis in the "Existentialism" movement, which is one of the most influential philosophical movements of the 20th century and whose influence and the discussions around it continue. Between human and other beings in the world; The difference in perceptions of the world, life and "being" and the alienation of the human being in the world are deeply felt today and push me to think and produce around this thought as an artist.
